Established in 1890, the hotel has been completely renewed to offer a warm and cosy atmosphere, typical of small Italian hotels. The hotel's main characteristic is the bedrooms differentiation: each one is personalised, respecting taste and harmony.
Thanks to its great central position, you can easily reach many beautiful places that this rich Tuscan town offers within a few minutes on foot: the Museo Etrusco; the Teatro Romano; and the Pinacoteca (Art gallery), with works of art by Rosso Fiorentino and the famous Porta all'Arco.
Hotel information
In one of the corners of the hotel you will find period objects with autographed photos of various protagonists such as Claudia Cardinale, from Visconti's film "Vaghe Stelle dell'Orsa" shot in 1964 and premiered in Venice at the Leone D'Oro Film Festival.
Also the Italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio and the English writer D.H. Lawrence were its distinguished guests.

Each room is individually decorated with taste and harmony, and with absolute respect to the antique structure of the building, while being furnished with all modern comforts. Some rooms still have their high vaulted ceilings.
Food & beverage
The hotel’s restaurant serves fine Tuscan cuisine, made with only the freshest and most genuine ingredients derived from organic farming, combined with an astute wine selection.
The restaurant is made up of an ample dining room that can entertain up to 120 people, making it particularly adaptable for weddings, ceremonies, official work or group dinners. There is the possibility of both half and full-board.
The hotel also has a small bar on its premises.
