The ancient town of Treviso is located just nine miles from Venice at the junction of the rivers Botteniga and Sile. Treviso has an international airport (S.Giuseppe), which is located in the south-west of the city. The old town has numerous winding streets lined with shops and restaurants and is still surrounded by the 15th-century town wall.
