Make full use of the speedy public transport connections to the nearby Altona ICE (high-speed) railway station as well as all Hamburg’s renowned sporting and cultural venues. Take the underground train (U-Bahn) or the bus, which stops right outside the hotel.
The alternative district of Sternschanze is just a 15-minute walk away, as is the notorious entertainment on offer on the Reeperbahn, lined with its quirky bars, cafes and fine restaurants.

The hotel's spa area includes a steam bath, a Finnish sauna, a relaxation area with heated ceramic loungers, and a sun terrace. For an additional charge, you can enjoy cosmetic treatments and massages, or go for a session in the solarium.
Nine multifunctional events rooms are available for up to 200 guests. They are equipped with modern technology and air conditioning, and can be combined in various ways. For separate meetings, the NH Hamburg-Altona offers an exclusive room with leather armchairs and a large oval table.

Our guest rooms feature high quality materials and warm colours, and include a lounger and large desk with lamp. All bathrooms include a large wash basin and mirror, as well as a cosmetics mirror.
Food & beverage
Our Navarra restaurant serves an extensive and healthy breakfast buffet from 06:00 each morning. At the weekend you can enjoy breakfast or brunch until 12:00.
The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner, serving refined, creative international cuisine with regional and seasonal touches.
Our lounge/bar provides a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy speciality coffees, snacks and cocktails, or to follow live sports events on the large screen.
During the summer you can also round off the evening on our terrace.
Area information
In the nearby Neue Flora musical theatre you can see the famous musical, Dirty Dancing.
The Forum Altes Gaswerk, a listed area with a park and shops, can also be found close to the hotel.
It takes just a few minutes to reach the lively centre of Ottensen with its numerous bars, restaurants, galleries and boutiques.
Travel information
Arriving by public transport:
From Hamburg’s main railway station:
- Take the S-Bahn (city rail) line S21 towards Elbgaustraße or the S31 towards Altona and get out at Holstenstraße
- Change to the bus number 3 towards Bahrenfeld/Trabrennbahn or Schenefelder Platz and get out at Bornkampsweg
- Walk along Stresemannstraße in the opposite direction to the one in which you were travelling
- The hotel is located on your left-hand side after approximately 500 metres
From Hamburg Airport (HAM):
- By taxi: approximately EUR 25
- By bus: the Jasper line offers a shuttle service between the airport and the main railway station. To continue from here, see the above instructions
Arriving by car:
- Leave the A7 motorway at the Bahrenfeld exit
- Continue towards the city centre (Zentrum) along Osdorfer Weg, which then leads to Von-Sauer-Straße, Bahrenfelder Chaussee, and then on to Stresemannstraße (following the crossing with Bahrenfelder Steindamm)
- The hotel is located on the left-hand side, immediately after the crossing
