This hotel is situated on the banks of the peaceful lake Außenalster, and offers a wonderful view of the water and the city’s skyline. Our 450m² leisure club is an oasis of calm. Begin your day with a stimulating training session in the gym, a jog along the 7.4 kilometre jogging path by the Alster, or with a few lengths in our heated swimming pool.
Following an eventful day, unwind in our solarium, jacuzzi, steam bath or sauna. Treat yourself to a massage or one of our many treatments.
For meetings, conferences or private parties, we offer 12 conference rooms for up to 260 people. These unique rooms are located on the 8th floor and feature a private terrace.

We offer 284 guest rooms, which combine modern luxury with refined elegance.
All rooms are decorated in the exclusive ART & TECH style and feature pale maple wood, glass and stainless steel. There are also glass headboards which vary in appearance from room to room with engraved motifs designed by artists in Hamburg.
Our special therapeutic beds feature Egyptian linen and comfortable pillows, guaranteeing a relaxing night’s rest.
Our bathrooms are fitted with free-standing bathtubs, separate shower cubicle and glass/limestone wash basins.
Pamper yourself with our in-house toiletries. In our suites the bathrooms are equipped with soap from Hermes and a fine floral/amber décor.
All guest rooms feature a 42-inch plasma TV screen and an entertainment centre for music, films and hotel information.

"Le Ciel" restaurant and bar:
Due to its location on the 9th floor, "Le Ciel" offers a breath-taking view of the Alster and the skyline of Hamburg. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner here in the restaurant. Michel Rostang, one of France's most famous masterchefs, created this innovative restaurant concept based on classic French cuisine. The restaurant and bar can be accessed via a glass lift on the outside wall of the hotel.
The "Opus Lounge":
Breakfast is available each morning in this chic lobby-lounge, and in the afternoons light dishes are available. During the afternoons and evenings you can enjoy live piano music here.
We offer inexpensive, healthy children's meals and would be happy to warm up baby bottles for you at no extra charge.
Area information
The hotel is located in the heart of the city by the lake Außenalster, and offers guests the chance to enjoy the lush green areas and peaceful waters nearby.
Take a walk or go sailing on the lake, which is artificially constructed. Enjoy the architecture of the historic banks, and the luxurious shopping centres and numerous sights of the city.
The Congress/Exhibition Centre, numerous elegant shopping streets and beautiful parks can all be accessed in a matter of minutes.
Travel information
Arriving by car:
- Coming from the north, take the A7 and exit at Stellingen
- Follow the signs to the centre ("Centrum") along Kieler Straße, Fruchtallee, Schäferkampsallee, An der Verbindungsbahn, Edmund-Siemers-Allee and Kennedybrücke
- After the Kennedybrücke bridge, you will find our hotel on the right-hand side
- Coming from the east, continue to the end of the motorway (the "Horner Kreisel" roundabout) and take the second exit Sievekingsallee
- Head towards the city centre ("Centrum"), and after the large junction the road becomes Bürgerweide
- After approx. 1.5 km turn right towards "Centrum/Wallstraße"
- Follow the road until you reach the lake "Außenalster", where you should turn left into An der Alster
- After approx. 1 km you will reach the hotel
- Arriving from the south, take the A7 which then crosses over the A1
- Follow the A255 and then the B4/B75 passing through the following roads/bridges: Veddeler Brückenstraße, Neue Elbbrücke, Billhorner Brückenstraße, Amsinckstraße , Zweite Amsinckbrücke, Amsinckstraße, Klosterwall, Steintorwall, An der Kunsthalle, Ferdinandtor, An der Alster, Edmund-Siemers-Allee, Kennedybrücke

If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
