Our hotel is located south of the Hafencity, directly at the famous Elbbrücken, only a few minutes to the harbour, cruise terminal, Ballinstadt museum and the famous Speicherstadt.
The rooms were renovated in January 2008 and are designed in a modern, Irish style that corresponds to the highest requirements of quality and comfort. Beyond the new, high-quality furniture, the rooms are equipped with sound-proofed windows and coffee and tea facilities.
All rooms have work spaces with wireless internet access. The use of sauna and solarium are included in the room rate. 2 modern conference rooms, a small wellness area and an internet terminal complete the services.
The Limerick Restaurant with its international and national specialities is another highlight. Close to the restaurant is the Irish styled Shannon bar. In this Irish Pub bar you can enjoy a variety of drinks as well as a tapped Guinness or fancy cocktail.
Hotel information
In 1991 the hotel was taken over by the Gresham Hotel Group (formerly Ryan Irish Hotels) and gained a truly Irish character. Since then, we have been welcoming guests from all over the world, whether travelling on business or for pleasure.
There are also two conference rooms and an internet terminal available.

Food & beverage
The Limerick Restaurant serves a large breakfast buffet from 06:30 until 10:00 on weekdays and from 06:30 until 11:00 at the weekend.
Light, moderately priced lunches are available from 12:00 until 14:00. You can enjoy a generous selection of international specialities from 17:00 until 22:00. Treat yourself to tasty snacks even after 24:00.
The Shannon Bar is modelled on the classic Irish Pub. In addition to international beverages, it offers a wide selection of Irish beers and freshly drafted Guinness.
The cosy chimney lounge is situated next to the bar. You can follow your favourite teams on the Premiere sports channel.
Area information
The hotel is located in the residential area of Veddel, on the outskirts of Hamburg’s port.
The Speicherstadt warehouse district and the cultural highlights of the Ballinstadt district are just a few minutes away. Make sure to visit the interactive museum and waterside park.
You can drive to Hamburg’s city centre in just 5 minutes. The A1, A7, and A24 motorways are within easy reach.
Travel information
Coming from the South on the A7 or A1 motorways:
At Horster Dreieck take the A1 in direction of Hamburg-City, until junction Hamburg-Süd where you change onto the A 255 towards "Centrum", take the first exit, direction Veddel, up to the crossing, and go straight on. The hotel is straight ahead of you.
Coming from the North on the A1 motorway:
At junction Hamburg-Süd change on the A255, direction Hamburg-City, exit at Veddel and drive until the crossing. Follow the main street and the hotel is straight ahead of you.
Coming from the North on the A7 motorway:
Exit Volksparkstadion, following the sign for Elbbrücken, take the street on the right and exit at Veddel. At the traffic lights the hotel is on your left.
Coming from the City:
Follow Elbbrücken, exit at Veddel
Coming by public transport:
Take the S-Bahn city rail lines 3 or 31 in the direction Hamburg-Harburg, get off at Veddel, follow the street Wilhelmsburger Strasse. At the end of the road cross to the other side of the street and you will reach to the hotel (10 minutes). The S3 leaves every 10 minutes from 4:30 to 00:30. Alternatively, take bus 34 up to the stop Hovestieg, turn right into Sieldeich and follow the street up to the end.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
