Our traditional country hotel near the half-timbered church in the heart of Egestorf, blends beautifully into the countryside.
You will experience a sense of tradition here. The town of Egestorf lies on the edge of Lüneburg heath natural reserve and is easy to reach via the Hamburg – Hanover motorway. We also feature in-house bowling facilities and a large reception room for up to 100 guests, ideal for hosting private functions and complete with a dance floor.

This hotel came into being on the site where former stagecoach horses used to be rested, and is therefore nicely sheltered from the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Our rooms are almost equally divided between the hotel itself and the half-timbered housing. Many antique and original bits-and-pieces lend the hotel an ambience beyond compare.
Food & beverage
The charming furnishings of our traditional German restaurant along with Germany’s largest collection of beer brewery mirrors add an extra touch of flavour to our rustic countryside cuisine.
You will find everything here to warm your heart and your stomach – either in the food and drink on offer in our breakfast buffet, or in enjoying your final nightcap by the traditional tiled stove.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 7.50 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 17.50 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
