The Hotel zur Post is a family-run bed & breakfast which combines traditional and modern elements. It is situated in a peaceful and idyllic location.
The lakes Starnberger See and Ammersee are easily reached by car. Furthermore, the hotel is very children-friendly: games and toys are available for our young guests.

The Hotel zur Post has belonged to its current owners for 6 generations. Special features of the hotel include the "Trachtenladerl" which offers exclusive traditional costumes, and a farm shop selling high quality game specialities.
Area information
The surrounding area will draw you in with its picturesque landscape. The lakes Starnberger See and Ammersee can easily be reached by car. In addition, a trip to Andechs Abbey is highly recommended.

By car, you can reach the hotel from Munich in just half an hour, via the motorways A 95 and A 952. Exit at Starnberg.
You can reach us just as quickly from Stuttgart via the A 8. Take exit Dachau / Fürstenfeldbruck.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
